In late 2017, Ljubljana in Slovenia hosted the BIO25 - Design Biennale. The biennale consisted of 7 collaborative installations. Paired objects sited in both Slovenia’s national Museum of Architecture and Design, and at key points outside the urban centre, offered reflections on our contemporary contexts.
Working alongside French artist Didier Faustino, our works were captured in the episode ‘Brand New Coexistence’. Using Slovenia’s iconic ‘K67’ kiosks, objects of 1960’s socialism, the installation manipulated the found objects from functional to memorial. While ‘The Interpassive Macine’ used algorithms and curated material to collect and print socio-political commentaries.
